Evalyn - CEO/Founder
Evalyn has been hairdressing for over twenty-five years and she has owned and operated her Sunshine Coast wedding business and hair salon since 2004.
Evalyn has made her mark as a highly recognised and award winning stylist and her work has been featured in many editorials, magazine covers and fashion shoots.
Literally thousands of happy brides have experienced Evalyn’s hair styling prowess to create their dream wedding hair. Evalyn is also a qualified Wella Colour Expert having recently completed the course. She spends a few days a week working with her salon team creating beautiful blondes and stylish haircuts and directing the team.
As leader of her team, Evalyn is always projecting ahead, refreshing herself and training her team in the latest looks and techniques.
When Evalyn isn't working, she loves to spend time with her husband Greg and their 5 beautiful children and two of her favourite hobbies are exercise and baking.

Emily - Salon Coordinator
Emily is our Salon Coordinator and Customer Service Extraordinaire! With over 10 years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, Emily has a keen eye for detail and her exceptional organisational skills keep our salon running smoothly.
Emily will be able to curate a truly beautiful experience for all our cherished clients and guests. Whatever assistance you require during your visit, count on Emily to be there with a warm smile and dedicated support.
On weekends, Emily enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and family and taking her dog, Cleo down to the beach with her husband, Jack.
Bonnie - Assistant Manger, Education Manager & Master Stylist
Bonnie is our Master Stylist and Wella Colour Expert. She has a love for short hair styles (pixie/crop cuts are her favourite!), as well as gorgeous blondes, rich colours and balayages.
Bonnie is always seeking to expand on her skills as a hairdresser to ensure that she is up to date with all the latest techniques and trends, so is full of knowledge and tips for anyone that sits in her chair.
Outside of work, you'll find her at the gym, traveling to new places, or simply enjoying downtime with friends.
Sorley - Master Stylist
Sorley is one of our Master Stylists and comes to join us all the way from Wales. We just love having him as part of the team!
He has a passion for precision and creative hair cutting, creating beautiful blondes, balayages and lived in colours.
Sorley has over 10 years of hairdressing experience and his friendly persona makes his clients feel at ease as soon as they are in his chair.
Jemma - Master Stylist
Jemma is one of our lovely Master Stylists. She moved to the Sunshine Coast from Melbourne over a year ago and has been absolutely loving her time here, soaking up the beaches and enjoying find the best coffee at our local cafes.
Jemma has been in the hairdressing industry for 7 years and loves all things foiling, creative colour and short fun cuts!
In her time away from the salon you can find Jemma spending time with her partner and pursuing her passion of dance.
Alyssa - Wedding Coordinator & Senior Stylist
Alyssa is one of our talented Senior Stylists with a bright future ahead. She started so young in her career and reached qualified status when she was only 17, wow! We chose Alyssa to join the Evalyn Parsons team as she epitomises our culture of passion, creativity and customer service excellence.
When you meet Alyssa you will find her bubbly and calming nature will immediately make you feel confident in the salon chair. Her passion is blow drying, wedding and specialty makeup + hair styling, and creating a full colour and cut service for her clients.
When she is not at the salon, Alyssa loves hanging out and taking walks by the beach with her partner, Nathan and her puppy, Ruby.
Suzanne - Senior Stylist and Senior Wedding Stylist
Suzanne has been with the Evalyn Parsons team for well over 10 years and her warm, friendly nature is adored by our clients and brides.
Suzanne has perfected all wedding hair techniques from gorgeous loose upstyles, relaxed tousled buns to the ever-popular glamour wave. She is also in the salon part time and has mastered the art of creating beautiful colours and style cuts for her clients. We love having Suzanne on our team!
When Suzanne is not in the salon or styling hair for our beautiful brides you will find her spending time with her family, keeping fit and catching up with friends.
Tori - Senior Stylist
Tori has been part of the Evalyn Parsons team for a number of years now and in this time she has perfected her skills in all aspects of colouring and cutting. She is also our Yuko Hair Straightening expert.
Her passion for creating beautiful hair and the care that she has for her clients is inspiring.
When she is not at work, Tori loves spending time with her family and her boyfriend. She also loves travelling and getting out in the great outdoors, camping and enjoying nature
Sami - Emerging Stylist
Sami is one of our talented Emerging Stylists and is in her final year of her hairdressing apprenticeship.
She is very passionate about advancing her skills and creating beautiful blondes, brunettes and rich colours that her clients love! You will also see her out and about assisting our wedding hair stylists.
Sami was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and couldn't imagine herself living anywhere else.
On her days off from the salon you will find her relaxing at the beach or taking a dance class.
Anae - Apprentice Stylist
Anae is our bubbly 2nd year Apprentice Stylist who loves all things hair! After being around hairdressing from a very young age it felt only natural for Anae to jump into a career in hairdressing.
When visiting the salon you will often be greeted by Anae and her warm, welcoming personality. You will also see her at the basin for a luxurious hair treatment and relaxing head massage.
In her time away from the salon you will find Anae relaxing on the beach reading a good book.
Emily - Evalyn's PA
After 18 exhilarating months exploring the world, Em has finally returned to her happy place; the Sunshine Coast!
Coming back also means rejoining the wonderful team at Evalyn Parsons. Her love for organization and keeping things running smoothly makes her a natural fit as Evalyn's PA. She thrives on helping to ensure everything stays on track for a successful and productive work environment. If she's not by Evalyn's side helping manage her busy timetable, you’ll see her around the salon; welcoming you to the salon, making delicious drinks & helping the team on the floor.
But when it's time to unwind, you'll find her embracing Caloundra's active lifestyle, enjoying kitesurfing, hitting the trails for a walk or run, or simply catching up with loved ones.
Julia - Business Manager
Julia has been part of the Evalyn Parsons team for over 10 years and is an integral part of our continued success. Her attention to detail, amazing customer service and organizational abilities are utilized throughout the business. Julia has successfully worked her way up from Admin assistant to our Business Manager role and now looks after the general running of the business operations on a day to day basis. Julia also offers phone support to our salon, so you may get a chance to have a friendly chat with her on the phone.
In her downtime Julia enjoys travelling and exploring the beaches of the Sunshine Coast with her husband, Ash and 2 boys and trying as many of our local restaurants and cafes as possible!
Anthea - Weddings Administration
Anthea does an amazing job liaising with our beautiful brides and making sure their experience with Evalyn Parsons is seamless - we would be so lost without her! From replying to all our bride emails through to booking in their hair trials and ensuring the wedding days run smoothly, Anthea is the person who keeps a lot of the behind the scenes happening. If you call the salon for an appointment you will often speak to Anthea as she also gives phone support to our salon team.
Anthea has recently moved to the Sunshine Coast with her young family, so on weekends you will find her rediscovering all that our local region Sunshine Coast has to offer.
